Donington Park was this weekends setting for possibly the most exciting race of the season thus far. Tom Sykes took the top step on the podium in both races, followed by team mate Loris Baz, giving Kawasaki two splendid one-two races and contributing to increasing the advantage at the top of the Manufacturer standings.
Selecting the right tyre can be a very daunting task. You know the size of the tyre and maybe even the speed rating you need but that's not enough. There are so many options!!! Different compounds and treads which is the right one for me? What we will try and do with this series of articles is try and make that decision a bit simpler by summerizing each range of the major brands available.
We should see very soon a new range of motorcycle tyre coming out of the famous German brand with the elephant logo. Metzeler are filling a need in the market for the Classic and Vintage motorcycles from the 70 and 80's era which have not had a look in with regards their tyre development since then!!

To be quite frank, it will take us some time and effort only because as a brand the Pirelli bike tyre ranges are very comprehensive, if not, the most comprehensive, in the motorbike tyre world. A typical example is the scooter tyre ranges. Where some brands just have the one tyre, or maybe even a couple, Pirelli has about twelve scooter tyres but we will focus on the main ones. You can purchase a comprehensive range of Pirelli motorcycle tyres on our website.

One of the issues was the fact that it came with original fitment knobbly enduro adventure bike tyres but there was no clearance for the dirt to be removed between the actual motorcycle tyre and the fender!! This has finally been sorted with the 2015 model promising to be a fantastic sport-touring bike!
Pirelli Motorcycle Tyres have proven time and again that when it comes to street racing and ultra high performance bikes they, as a brand, have become for many manufacturers the first choice. This can be said for the new #Ducati1299Panigale 1299 Panigale S and Panigale R which will be fitting with #PirelliDiabloSuperCorsaSP 120/70ZR17 and 200/55ZR17.
Somethings do really go together, like strawberries and cream, sun and sand and in the motorcycle world Pirelli and Ducati. So these two Italian giants haven't let us down with the development of the Ducati Multistrada 1200 and the new Pirelli Scorpion Trail II. Read More
